National Geographic Endurance sailed northwest all day, headed to explore the Falkland Islands. The seas were big, up to six meters or eighteen feet! It was an ocean crossing not to be forgotten. Everyone used this day to catch up on rest and reading. The naturalists gave presentations in the lounge while some guests chose to enjoy the library on Deck 8. As the day ended, our onboard doctor recounted his experience of evacuating an entire hospital during the Santa Rosa wildfires! Exciting!
